Setting up the Secure Edge appliance

This article explains how to set up, power on, and connect to your Secure Edge device.

For softclient setup information, refer to Deploying the Secure Edge softclient. For troubleshooting steps, refer to Troubleshooting the Secure Edge appliance.

Deploy

1. Power on the device Plug in the power cable and wait until the power light turns solid green. For device details, refer to Appliance layout.

2. Connect to your home router Connect one end of the included Ethernet cable to the third port from the left (marked with a blue label). Plug the other end into any available LAN port on your modem or router. The WiFi light will turn solid green after connecting to the internet.

3. Connect to your work WiFi Connect your computer to your work WiFi just like you would in the office.
